Decentralized TikTok alternative Chingari has announced the launch of its revamped app on the Google PlayStore and Apple App store along with the integration of its native $GARI token. The launch came just days after the Chingari community’s successful test net launch last month. Often known as the ‘Indian Tiktok,’ Chingari redefines content production to integrate its millions of daily users to the Solana blockchain. Launched in 2018, the app has grown to over 35 million monthly active users to become the most popular mobile application in the country on the Google Play store, following the demise of TikTok, which was banned by the country a couple of years ago. Commenting on the development, Sumit Ghosh, CEO and Co-founder of Chingari stated: “Existing and new users will be able to Tip other artists, raise their profile, obtain governance powers, and utilise various other app features. As a result, we’re moving closer to being a project with the most on-chain users.
