Kadena, a Layer-1 proof-of-work blockchain protocol, has announced a $100 million grant program for Web3 developers to build projects on its network. The grant program is part of Kadena Eco which focuses on supporting developers and entrepreneurs in building decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within the Kadena ecosystem. Kadena Eco will evaluate the grant applicants based on technical strength, team experiences and usefulness of the project. Developers applying for grants, on the other hand, must abide by the blockchain’s “build in the open philosophy” and submit detailed explanations about their protocols. Kadena supports Web3 development with scalable architecture and smart contracts backed by Chainweb, a Proof-of-work consensus method that offers high transactions without the need for layer-two scaling solutions. The platform’s native KDA cryptocurrency is now ranked 106th on CoinGecko with a market valuation of $893 million. The post Kadena Launches $100M Grant Program for Web3 Developers first appeared on Cryptoknowmics-Crypto News and Media Platform. The post Kadena Launches $100M Grant Program for Web3 Developers appeared first on Cryptoknowmics-Crypto News and Media Platform.
