Layah Heilpern believes CBDCs will lead to government-enforced censorship, preventing citizens from transacting as they see fit. “Programmable money should terrify you,” argues social media celebrity and television host Layah Heilpern, who views central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) as a way for banks and governments to exert control over their citizens.
