Coinbase Receives Regulatory Permission In Netherlands

The Dutch central bank, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), has given cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (COIN) a legal license, enabling it to provide crypto goods to customers and businesses. According to the firm, Coinbase is the first cryptocurrency exchange to be registered in the Netherlands. Due to this registration, Coinbase will be able to provide consumers in the Netherlands with an entire range of retail, institutional, and ecosystem solutions. Coinbase Serves In 40 Nations Through specialized hubs in Germany, the UK, and Ireland, Coinbase provides services to consumers in around 40 European nations. Following regional legislation, license applications are ongoing in several important markets. Upon the implementation of the EU’s Market in Crypto Assets (MiCA) law, Coinbase will be able to operate throughout the other 26 European Union member states with approval from the Dutch authorities.
